CSC students named to dean's list
383 students met requirements for the dean's list by earning at least a 3.5 cumulative grade-point average on a 4.0 scale. Students must be enrolled in 12 credit hours of coursework during the semester to qualify.

Concordia University, Nebraska's Art Club Members Tour Chicago
Sixteen Concordia University, Nebraska art students spent spring break in Chicago as part of a Concordia Art Club tour. The students visited the Art Institute of Chicago and explored the artistic attractions, music and cuisine of the city. Brenda Robson and art instructor Jennifer Bockelman led the group.
The Art Club's purpose is to create opportunities and experiences for art students outside of the classroom such as Art Walks and Saturday School for elementary students to create art projects. Concordia's art department regularly hosts events for the public including Experience Art Days for high school students and art gallery exhibitions for the community.

Students named as RHOP participants, alternates at CSC
Incoming student participants in the collaborative Rural Health Opportunities Program between Chadron State College and the University of Nebraska Medical Center have been named. Jill Mack, director of Health Programs and RHOP at CSC said, "They are a great group of students and we look forward to having them here in August."
Mack said some interviews, which took place in January, were conducted in-person while others were conducted using distance technology. Students must be residents of rural communities in Nebraska to apply for the program. All participants receive four-year, full-tuition waivers as long as they remain eligible.
